#myPDtoday

Clarity - it sounds rather simple. Yet, in a world that is always on, taking time to be clear about goals, plans, and what is essential can be difficult. It’s not always easy to find time. When you do find time, it can be even more difficult to focus and sift through all the noise to identify what is essential. There seems so many things all clamouring for time, to be included as essential. One of the greatest obstacles we face is the overwhelming amount of information that is available. It can be limiting, keeping us from making a decision as we wait for more information.

It’s important to take time to shut off the noise, work through what might be possible, eliminate the good ideas from the great and focus on the what is necessary to reach your destination. Clearly identify the destination and take time to prioritize what is essential to begin the journey.
It doesn’t mean there isn’t time for side trips and sight seeing while you move toward your destination but it does mean you know where you want to end up. It helps you to return to the journey once you’ve spent time off the trail. Life doesn’t provide a map nor is there any one way to get to where you want to be. When you commit to a destination, you can begin to plan the journey.

Where are you going? How do you want to get there? What is essential to the success of your trip?
Clarity - prioritize the essential.
Every day is a PD day!
